I am a painter, I love to paint, I want to paint. When I paint I am excited and nervous simultaneously. My lines, colours, forms and crawling paint engage with each other. We both steer each other until a painting emerges, dominated by movement and passion. I draw inspiration from myself, my surroundings and my senses. It governs my mood. When I paint in different styles I feel the need to. Portrait of my grandmother an example, I prefer to paint with no precise image in mind because I find it far more exciting when something unexpected emerges. Even though the subject matter might coincide in most of the works it is the process that dominates me .The viewer may feel the urge to understand, dissect and analyse.  "I don't say everything I paint everything " Picasso
